As we celebrate 200 years of the naming of Port Stanley, we recognize the rich history of this place before and after 1824.

Heritage Port Stanley, a group whose mandate is to preserve, display and share the history of Port Stanley, is offering you an opportunity to visit and learn about some special sites designated as significant in the evolution of the Village.

Interpretive tours will occur every half hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024.

Interpreters, in costume appropriate for each site, will give you a unique glimpse into some of these historic locations.

You can also walk around the harbour, learning about many historical happeneings in the village from the interpetive signs, and vist our many businesses and restaurants that draw people from all over.

Members of Heritage Port Stanley will be at sites of heritage interest. Below is a map showing their locations, and some details about each of the locations.

Our heritage team will also be handing out copies of a brochure to help your visit.
