The image on this postcard shows a footbridge which would have been situated at the extreme west end of the pathway along the crest of the bluff west of the village.

It is interesting to note the wharf extending out into Lake Erie west of the main pier. This would have been used by pleasure boats which took summer tourists on jaunts into Lake Erie.
