Anglican Church viewed from Kettle Creek

This postcard, which is very similar to another view of Port Stanley's Christ Church which we have in our Heritage Port Stanley collection, is postmarked May 26, 1911.  Many of the postcards from this time period were "colourized".  They were made from black and white photographs which had been carefully coloured.  This is likely what caused the slightly pinkish tinge that the church appears to have in this photograph.
The church is, today, a white clapboard structure and is believed to be little changed from when it was built 180 years ago.  John Bostwick is buried in the churchyard.
