There are several postcards on our web site which show the Port Stanley Dance Casino.   It was destroyed by fire in 1932, along with the merry go round situated beside it.   Tom Gilbert one of our long time Heritage Port Stanley members remembers the fire from the time when he was a boy.   He remembers sifting through the ashes of the merry go round, looking for the glass eyeballs of the merry go round horses.
