The photograph on this postcard was taken from Port Stanley‘s main intersection, looking north.  There is no postmark to give us a date, but a guess of 1910 seems reasonable.

The streetcar shown here was operated by the Southwest Traction Company (not to be confused with the L&PS train) and had tracks running from Port Stanley to St. Thomas.  In busy years the streetcar carried in excess of 700,000 passengers.
