In days gone by, picture postcards used to be more common than they are today.  The way to let your friends and relatives know what exotic location (like Port Stanley) you were visiting was not to send them an email, or call them on your cell phone, but to mail them a picture postcard.  Many of these have been saved, and form a wonderful record of Port Stanley's past.

Many of the original postcards came from the collections of our Heritage Port Stanley members.  The descriptions which accompany the postcard image have been written by Craig Cole.
